But emotions are not here to hurt you.

You learned which emotions were "good" and which were "bad" based on how others responded to you.

Those definitions were inherited.

​

When you release what you were taught and redefine what your emotions mean for you, something shifts. You reconnect with yourself.

And when you are connected to yourself, you are present.

​​

From that place, trust returns.

Safety returns.

Ease returns.

The loop ends because you are no longer trying to fix it.

I’m Mike Gonzalez, a life coach and the founder of Path of Remembrance.

​

Before coaching, I spent years in high pressure environments where performance mattered. As an MMA Champion and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black belt, I learned how to stay composed under pressure, but more importantly, I learned how the body responds when it doesn't feel safe. 

​​

Like many people, I relied on my mind to stay in control.

Overthinking. Managing. Staying alert.

It worked...until it didn't.

​

What I eventually realized is that clarity, confidence, and direction don't come from trying harder. They come from changing what your emotions mean to you.​

​

Most of us were taught which emotions were acceptable and which were not.

We inherited definitions based on other people's reactions.

​

When an emotion is labeled as "bad", it gets resisted.

Resistance creates tension.

Tension creates the loop.

​

My work is about helping you release those inherited definitions and redefine what your emotions mean for you.

​

Not to control them.

Not to suppress them.

But to understand them as signals/feedback of your state of presence.

​

When you stop trying to fix what you feel, you stop fighting yourself.

You reconnect with yourself.

​

When that shift happens, the body softens. And when the body softens, presence returns.

From there, self-trust rebuilds.

Safety returns.

Ease returns.

​

This work isn't about fixing you.

It's about Remembering who you are when you are no longer resisting yourself.

Evolution is a 6 month container for people who are ready to stop living from survival and start living from presence.

This is a process of becoming a new version of yourself. Not through pressure or performance, but by releasing the patterns that kept you in survival mode.

​

Across six months, we slow everything down and trace your patterns back to the body. Through sensation-based work, pressure softens, overthinking quiets, and self-judgement fades. You begin to hear yourself clearly, trust yourself deeply, and move through life without fighting the signals of your own nervous system.

​

This is where clarity returns, resistance drops,

and life begins to feel steady instead of uphill.

Expansion is a year long container for people who want their inner world to feel dependable.

Not managed.

Not optimized.

Dependable.

​

This process is about developing a stead internal relationship with yourself that holds through pressure, responsibility, uncertainty, and change. Over time, you stop needing to check in and correct yourself or recalibrate as often. Because your nervous system knows how to stay with what's happening instead of getting hijacked into the past.

​

You will build familiarity with your own internal rhythms, limits, and signals. And you learn how to respond to them without urgency or self-abandonment. Emotional experiences move through without taking over. Decisions are made without second guessing. Rest becomes natural rather than scheduled.

As the year unfolds, your inner world starts to feel less reactive and more lived-in. There's less internal noise, fewer swings, and more trust in how you meet situations as they arise. You're not trying to hold yourself together anymore. 

You simply are.

Expansion is for those who want their way of living to feel consistent, grounded, and sustainable. Not because life gets easier, but because their relationship with themselves no longer wavers.

Why The Dragonfly?
