Rest as a practice, not an escape

Most people struggle because they've learned to live in their heads instead of their bodies. Overthinking, stress, and self judgment are not flaws.

They are notifications that something does not feel safe.

When it doesn't feel safe, we shift into survival mode.

The mind scans for safety, and tries to fix what it believes is wrong.

​

My work is about guiding you out of survival mode and back into connection with yourself through embodied practices. We shift attention out of the mind and back into the body so the mind can rest. Safety becomes something you feel and live, not something you think about.

​

From here, clarity returns naturally, self-trust rebuilds, and life begins to move with ease.

I’m Mike Gonzalez, a life coach and the founder of Path of Remembrance.

​

Before coaching, I spent years in high pressure environments where performance mattered. As an MMA Champion and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black belt. What I learned there wasn't just how to push, but how the body responds when it never feels safe enough to rest. 

​​

Like many people, I learned to rely on my mind to stay in control. Overthinking, managing, and staying alert became normal. What I eventually realized is that clarity, confidence, and direction don't come from trying harder.

They come from feeling safe enough to be present.

​

My work is about helping people remember how to rest.

Not as escape or shutdown, but as a grounded, embodied practice.

Through simple, sensation-based approaches, I guide people out of survival mode and back into connection with themselves.

​

When the body feels safe, the mind can rest.

From there, self-trust rebuilds, ease returns, and life begins to move naturally again.

​

This work isn't about fixing you.

It's about Remembering how to live from presence.

Evolution is a 6 month container for people who are ready to stop living from survival and start living from presence.

This is a process of becoming a new version of yourself. Not through pressure or performance, but by releasing the patterns that kept you in survival mode.

​

Across six months, we slow everything down and trace your patterns back to the body. Through sensation-based work, pressure softens, overthinking quiets, and self-judgement fades. You begin to hear yourself clearly, trust yourself deeply, and move through life without fighting the signals of your own nervous system.

​

This is where clarity returns, resistance drops,

and life begins to feel steady instead of uphill.

Expansion is a year long container for people who want their inner world to feel dependable.

Not managed.

Not optimized.

Dependable.

​

This process is about developing a stead internal relationship with yourself that holds through pressure, responsibility, uncertainty, and change. Over time, you stop needing to check in and correct yourself or recalibrate as often. Because your nervous system knows how to stay with what's happening instead of getting hijacked into the past.

​

You will build familiarity with your own internal rhythms, limits, and signals. And you learn how to respond to them without urgency or self-abandonment. Emotional experiences move through without taking over. Decisions are made without second guessing. Rest becomes natural rather than scheduled.

As the year unfolds, your inner world starts to feel less reactive and more lived-in. There's less internal noise, fewer swings, and more trust in how you meet situations as they arise. You're not trying to hold yourself together anymore. 

You simply are.

Expansion is for those who want their way of living to feel consistent, grounded, and sustainable. Not because life gets easier, but because their relationship with themselves no longer wavers.

Why The Dragonfly?

This ancient symbol of resilience and uniqueness mirrors the path of deep personal growth.
